Jules and Andy (creators of 'Damo & Ivor’) approached us about working with them on some stuff including the management of their Horny Tour. Martin had worked with them previously and really liked them. We’re always on the look out for what Martin calls ‘like-minded people’ and he said Jules and Andy were exactly that – like-minded people and nice people to boot. We like nice people. So we met with them, we did a deal and out on the road we went bringing the Horny Tour to venues up and down the country both for under 18 and over 18 gigs.
We really like Jules and Andy so we really loved working on this tour with them. They’re genuinely good people and we’re delighted to be able to help them with the on-going development of the Damo & Ivor characters and brand.
The only challenge with this one was venues looking to book it on the same night. At one point we looked into getting a helicopter to do 4 gigs in one night, such was the demand. We didn’t, in the end.
